Located smack-dab in the middle of Half Moon Bay, Sundowners is notorious for being one of the best Roatan bars for expats and one of the best beach bars in Roatan. During the day, it’s the perfect place to snag a beach chair and enjoy a few Salva Vidas or Monkey La Las with a beautiful view of the water.That day pass was $10 per person. There were other passes with different prices. The beach and pool pass was $25 if I remember correctly. The highest day pass was $65 with beach, pool access, open bar, showers, and lunch buffet. Your driver waits for you to take you back to the port. They take credit cards.Some people love that experience and, if you do, West BAY may be the place for you. However, in my opinion, there is little reason to travel to a place like Roatan for that experience. West END, although only a 5 minute taxi ride (or 10 minute boat taxi ride) from West BAY is entirely different.
